چکیده

Succulent leaves of two accessions Baobab (Odo-Ere and Okoloke) grown under three poultry manure rates (PM) (0, 15 30 t ha-1) were harvested assayed for proximate, mineral, vitamin anti-nutrient compositions using standard analytical procedures in replicated trials. Results the analysis variance revealed a significant (p<0.05) effect accession on some contents leaves. Accession sourced from Okoloke contained higher carbohydrates protein while Odo-Ere had moisture content. Application ha-1 PM increased The was non-significant (p>0.05) mineral contents. Determination of Proximate and Vitamin Compositions of Blighia unijugata Leaves

The proximate and vitamin compositions of Blighia unijugata leaves were investigated using spectrophotometric methods. The results showed high carbohydrate (41.31%) and protein (24.13%) contents and relatively low percentage levels of fiber (12.61%), moisture (12.13%), ash (6.02%) and fat (3.80%). The results also recorded high concentrations of retinol (24.15±0.05 mg/100g) and ascorbic acid (1...
